A family passion
The Roccafiore Resort project developed from an old family passion.
Everything started in 1949, when Nazareno Baccarelli started distributing fuel oil throughout the Umbrian countryside which had been devasted by bombardments, a precious resource which peasants generously exchanged with eggs, livestock, wine. During those years, Baccarelli’s love towards the country was strengthened by the daily savouring of genuine fruits of the blooming Umbrian land, a passion passed on by Nazareno to his son and nephews, through tales and anecdotes of rural life.
From generation to generation, the Baccarelli family followed the changing of times, diversifying its own activities, but always been very ingrained in the territory, up to the making of the Resort Residence, created by Nazareno’s son - Leonardo Baccarelli – and managed by his nephew Luca.
Thanks also to the precious contribution of an uncle architect and an auntie landscapist, Roccafiore is today a prestigious wellbeing place, where one can rediscover the regenerating strength of the contact with nature, taste the most wholesome ingredients, indulge in total mind and body relaxation.
