The taste for art
The heart of the Roccafiore Residence is an old country cottage, completely renovated and enlarged by the Baccarelli family, owner of the Residence. The structure consists of three parts which form one single body: an old stone house furnished by matching fire bricks, wood and natural fabrics; a country house, with floors and walls with pastel tones and period furniture; a more recent building made of bricks, which links the first two parts, with some rooms furnished with a refined contemporary taste.
Inside the Residence, the owners collected works of local artists throughout the years, which complete and characterize the furnishing, offering guests the pleasure of visiting the various areas and to appreciate everywhere the refinedly artistic taste of the Residence. An ample and bright large hall of the Vinary was also planned to host cycles of contemporary art exhibitions, coupled with the tasting of the prestigious Roccafiore wines.
Amongst the authors of the works displayed in Roccafiore there are: Bruno Ceccobelli, well-known artist at a national level, but also emerging talents like Antonio Bonfiglio, Antonella Antonella Zazzera, Marino Ficola, who made some of their works specifically for the Residence.
In the year 2007, these artists started the first edition of the Degustarte (Art Tasting) exhibition, organized in the Roccafiore Cellar: a yearly appointment during which wine tasting is coupled with exhibitions of works by emerging artists.
